James Douglas ‘Jimmy’ Brewington passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, he was 63 years old.
James Douglas Brewington was born in Waukegan IL to Virginia Belle Pruitt and Douglas Jewl Brewington.
He served in the United States Army before settling into his profession as a painter. Jimmy loved country and gospel music, playing the guitar, and clowning around. He was a huge Tennessee Vols football fan.
Jimmy is survived by his wife and companion: Rejeanna Brewington; children: Ashley Ann (Rodney) Dunnam, Donnie Barlow, and Chris Barlow; grandchildren: Layla Journeay, Nate Barlow, Jeremy Barlow, Dylan Williams, Kaitlyn Barlow, Audrina and Anna Barlow, Landon Barlow, and Tereanna Victoria Barlow; first wife: Margaret Ann Blair; and brother: Randall Brewington.
He is preceded in death by nephew Danny Lee Brewington, parents Virginia and Douglas Brewington, brothers Tony Brewington and Johnny “Hoot” Brewington, and sister Janet Whitfield.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until the service at 6:30 p.m.
