Irene Price Healea age 86 of Watertown died Monday morning, Dec. 8, 2025 at her residence. Born Dec. 16, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Heinz and Aurelia Schenk Ahlmeyer and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Price and Warren Healea; and her brothers, Bill and Heinz Ahlmeyer, Jr.
Irene was a graduate of Pearl River High School and received her BS degree from Adelphia College in New York. She managed and operated a beef and dairy farm in Ohio before retirement.
Irene is survived by her sons, Eric (Kristi) Price and Dr. Greg (Page) Price; grandchildren, Chance Price (Hannah) and Dr. Morgan Price (Michael Leake); great grandchildren, Calvin Price and Nelson Price.
Family and friends will gather at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home to remember and celebrate Irene’s life. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Irene’s name be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
