Mrs. Hettie Jackie Mosley Cripps, age 98 of Lebanon passed away peacefully Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Pavillion.

Born July 30, 1924, in Maury County, she is the daughter of the late Manuel J. and Maude Hicks Mosley.

She retired from Genesco after twenty five years, and was an active member of Gladeville United Methodist Church where she had been a member since July 1967.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, Ben Wade Cripps on December 16, 2004; grandson, Darryl Allen; three sisters, Grace Mosley Campbell, Jo Doris Mosley Schneidenbach, and Gladys Boyd; and four brothers, Richard, Frank, Max, and James Mosley.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Annette) Cripps and Robert (Faye) Cripps; grandson, Ben (Jolie) Cripps; great-grandchildren: Adon, Eli, Emmie & Anna Cripps, Ross & Neil Allen; great-great-grandchildren, Gavin & Quinn Allen.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hettie Jackie Mosley Cripps was 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Pastor Moses Han officiating. Interment Salem Cemetery in Liberty. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 PM and Wednesday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Pallbearers: Ben, Adon & Eli Cripps, Ross, Neil & Gavin Allen.

Memorials may be made to the Gladeville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
