Harry “Jimmy” Wright Jr., age 79 of Lebanon, passed away on December 21, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Wright Sr. & Johnnie Mai Wright; brother, Frankie Donnell Wright and daughter, Kemya Lovvorn.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Velvet Wright; sons, Richie Wright and Jimmy “JimJim” (Melissa) Wright; daughters, Temya Ezell and Wendy Wright; grandchildren, Stevie Ezell, Alex (John) Jones, Paige Wright and Shelby (Mark) Ragland; great-grandchildren, McKensie, Landree, Avery and Parker; nephew, Steve (Ellen) Wright, and one devoted cousin, Darlene Wiley.
Jimmy was a loving husband and devoted father. He was a member of College Hills Church of Christ and served the Lebanon community for 60 years with his business, Wright Printing.
Jimmy served in the United States Army, with his brother Frankie, for 4 years and was a proud veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, and playing jokes on everyone that he crossed paths with. Jimmy was a bright light in everyone’s life that knew him and he will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023 from 3 – 7 p.m. at College Hills Church of Christ, 1401 Leeville Pike, Lebanon, TN. Visitation will also be held Wednesday, December 27th from 1 p.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. at College Hills Church of Christ. Dr. Kevin Owen & Bro. Johnny Markham will officiate the services. Interment to follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Richie Wright, Jimmy “JimJim” Wright, Steve Wright, Derek Wright, Mark Ragland, Eric Pirtle and John Jones. Honorary pallbearers: Steve Jones, Robbie Harp, Johnny Clark, Beverly Spickard, Tommy Knowles, Wayne Love, Kenny Reich, Donnie Keys, Doug Dillard and the Staff of Frankie’s Cafe.
The family wants to give a special thanks to the doctors and staff at Dialysis Clinic Inc.
