Gordon Daniel ‘Dan’ Meals, age 66, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Dan was born in Cleveland, OH. He was the owner of Lakeside Marine for over 20 years, enjoying his passion and expertise of boat mechanics and restorations. He loved to fish and spend time on the lake with his family and friends. He had the biggest heart. His grandson, Luke, was the joy of his life.
Dan was the son of the late, Gordon and Jean Meals. He was a devoted, husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Meals; daughter, Ashley Meals; sisters, Kristin Sutherland, and Kimberly Meals McDougal; grandson, Luke Satterfield; several in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Yogi.
A Celebration of Life in loving memory of Dan Meals will be on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, at 2 pm at Cedar Creek Marina: 9120 Saundersville Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Please join us to gather and share some of our favorite memories.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
