Georgia Frances Atnip Matula, age 92 passed from this life peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George & Hester Durham Atnip; husband, Tom Matula; brother, Ronnie Atnip; sisters, Jewell Randalls & Helen Ragland.
Mrs. Matula is survived by her sisters, Jo Holt, Rose Davis, Margie Andrews & Ramona(Dennis) Bowman; brother, Gene Atnip; brother-in-law, Harold Ragland; her nieces, nephews and special friend, Connie Barnes.
Her family would like to thank her caregivers at Hearthside & Quality Healthcare & Rehabilitation who took such good care of Georgia.
She was a member of College Hills Church of Christ, and when she was able was very involved in their Earth Angels ministry as well as the Primetimers. She was an avid gardner and took pride in her yard and planting beautiful flowers. She had a love of decorating and always enjoyed getting her home prepared for the holidays and special occasions with wreaths and flowers surrounding her.
