George David Fisher, age 51 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on October 2nd, 2024.
He was preceded in death by parents, George Charles Fisher and Theodore “Teddy” Fisher; paternal grandparents, George and Leona Fisher; maternal grandparents, Edward and Theodora Hartenstein and uncles, Paul Lukasik and Alan McCarthy.
He is survived by sister, Jennifer Johnston; nephew, Devin Johnston; aunts, Lenore Lukasik, Cecelia McCarthy, Dr. Norma Jean Fisher; uncle, Dr. Maurice Consiglio as well as many cousins and other loving family members and friends.
Originally from New York, George’s passions included fishing and hunting, a love he shared with his father and grandfather on many deep-sea fishing trips off Long Island. His strong sense of patriotism was deeply influenced by his father’s service as a Marine in Vietnam and his grandfather’s service in the Navy during WWII. George did love his numerous outings with his cousin Brian, of concerts and waterfalls just to name a few. He was also a devout fan of the NY Giants and Yankees, embodying his New York spirit.
A Catholic Service will be held in his honor at St. Francis Cabrini in Lebanon on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 AM with interment following at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
