It is with great sadness that the family of Fred “Trey” Laren Scotchell III, age 36, announced his sudden passing on Monday, October 9, 2023.
Trey was an arborist by trade, created astounding artwork, loved animals, fishing, camping and had a sense of humor and a heart that drew people close to him. He also had a love of reading and studying the Bible.
Trey will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Lietta Erikson; children, Clay and Cohen; siblings, Bree (Jeremy) Wong, Ethan Scotchell; grandfather, Robert Orme; uncles Robert and Lynn (Debbie) Orme; niece, Riley Armstrong; nephew, Tanner Wong; cousins, Bess, Taylor, Hannah, Robbie, Adam, Ashley, Alison, Greg, Deborah and friends, Henry, Randy, Michelle and countless others.
Trey was predeceased by his father, Fred Laren Scotchell II, grandmother, Dollie Winningham Orme.
Family and friends will gather to Celebrate Trey’s Life from 4-6 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to help with funeral expenses.
