Elizabeth Massey, age 77 passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Grace Forkum; husband, Billy Joe Massey whom she married in June of 1965; and brother-in-law, Ricky Underhill.
She is survived by her four children, Penny (Bob) Spears, Scott (Denise) Massey, Amy Jo (Carl) Endsley, & Valerie (Troy) Nelsen; sister, Renee Underhill; five grandchildren, Brittany (Michael) Walker, Bailey Padgett, Dalton Massey, Dylan Massey & Chase (Charlie) Collinsworth; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Walker & Noah Collinsworth.
Elizabeth was a 1965 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was an employee with Genesco Inc. for 28 years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard tending to her flowers. Her passions were spending time with her grandkids and family, playing the piano, making her delicious Lemon Cake, attending the Wilson County Fair and her frequent visits to Gatlinburg.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening September 6th, 4-7 p.m. & Saturday, September 7th, from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Bob Spears will officiate the services. Interment, Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers, Troy Nelsen, Dylan Massey, Dalton Massey, Carl Endsley, Chase Collinsworth & Kirk Whitefield.
