Edward David ‘Ed’ McHale, age 75 of Mt. Juliet Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
Ed was born in Utica, New York in 1947 and grew up in Alder Creek, New York.
He proudly served in the military from 1966-1969 serving as military police in Korea during the Vietnam era. After that, he was a Governmental accountant for 27 years and taught college level accounting as an adjunct professor and business coach at Russell Sage and Hudson Valley Community College for several years. Ed was a lover of dogs. He even trained show, obedience, and therapy dogs. He was a great person and wonderful husband who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary McHale.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years and caregiver, Joann McHale. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, John Gentile; sister-in-law, Donna Gentile; and aunt, Helen Russell.
The Funeral Service will be held at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Thursday, January 26th at 11 am. The Interment will follow the service at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1 pm.
