Hubert Edward Coffee age 80 of Tuckers Cross Roads Community, died Monday evening, Nov. 25, 2024 at Mt. Juliet Health Care.
Born March 30, 1944 in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Hubert Harlin Coffee and Lizzie Angeline Mea Coffee and was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny and Jonah Coffee and sisters, Linda, Phyllis, Brenda, Stella and Helen.
Edward was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1960-1962 and was a factory worker and carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and watching football, especially the Redskins. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Edward is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Jo White Coffee; daughter, Tracy Renee’ (Zendel) Murphy and son, James Edward (Tiah) Coffee; grandchildren, Lindsey Renee’ (Bob) Sirising and their children, Aless, Mason and Everly; Zendel Cody (Alexandrea) Murphy and their children, Aubrey, Gracelyn, Jace and Micah; James Edward Coffee, Jr. and Ella Rhea Coffee; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at Cedar Grove Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Rev. Randall Smitty officiating.
