Eddie Wade Forrest II, age 37 of Lebanon passed away Saturday, May 31st 2025. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted and Ruby Forrest; maternal grandmother, Jewell McMichael; aunts and uncles, Marion Donelson, Deloris Willis, Ron Forrest, Daryl Forrest Sr., Lonnie (Regina) Forrest, Ted “Biggun” Forrest, Nema Jayroe, Sherrie McMichael, Terry Hickey, and Annette Martin. Mother in law, Alisa Good.
He is survived by his loving wife, Megan Forrest; son, Bodhi Forrest; parents, Eddie Wade Forrest and Lisa Forrest; siblings, Tiffany Forrest, Michael Forrest and James Taylor; aunts, Linda Forrest, Saundra (David) Schaller, Trecia Martin; uncles, Douglas (Debbie) Forrest, Jerry Dozier and Marion Dozier; father in law, Dave (Kim) Good; grandparents, Pete (Priscilla) Soles and many other loving family members and close friends.
Eddie was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with honor and dedication. He was a devoted husband to Megan and a loving father to their son, Bodhi. He cherished spending time with his family, especially attending Bodhi’s baseball, soccer, and flag football games. One proud moment in Eddie’s life was when he hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, where he met Megan along the way. He was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed hiking and being outdoors.
Eddie was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held Friday, June 6th from 4–6 p.m., with a memorial service and military honors to follow at 6 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Eddie’s honor.
