Douglas Lee Luick age 72 of Lebanon, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at his residence.
Doug was born June 16, 1952 in Petersburg, VA, son of the late retired Colonel Alton L. Luick, Sr. and Nell Douglas Luick. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alton L. Luick, Jr.
Doug was a graduate of Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA and received a business degree from the University of Kentucky in 1974. He served 6 years in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1981.
He loved all things historical, military and political, he was an avid reader of mysteries and espionage, and enjoyed working difficult crossword puzzles and playing the 12 string guitar.
Doug is survived by his wife of 27 years, Theresa Watson Luick of Lebanon and stepson, Marc Lea and his wife, Karen of Dickson.
Doug has chosen cremation and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203.
