Dot Brewer, age 73, passed away on October 23, 2025. The Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 in the chapel of Sellar Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Dorothy Mai Dickens Brewer was born in Nashville TN to Lelai Mai Beal Dickens and Wesley Adden Dickens. Ms. Dot loved working at Waffle House in Mt. Juliet for 25 years. She was a hard worker. Any down time was spent with her family, working puzzle books, and watching game shows.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by daughter Tammy Campbell; grandchildren: Brandon Campbell and Brittany (Cravon) Trotter Jr.; great-grandchildren: Ayverie Rollins, Nevaeh Trotter, and Cravon Trotter III, and sister-in-law: Doris Dickens. She is preceded in death by husband Bernice Brewer, parents Lelai and W.A. Dickens, and siblings, Willie Mai Denney, Bobby Gene, Bobby “Curly”, David, Wesley, John, and James Dickens.
