Dorris Denny, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 87 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 10th, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bob Denny; children, Bill (Kathy) Denny, Tim (Phyllis) Denny, and Deb (Allen) Clark; grandchildren, Ray Denny, Bethany (Thomas) Davis, Destini (Justin) Usrey, Sydney (Chris Taylor) Tarrant, A.J. (Chloe Brock) Tarrant, Josh (Whitney) Clark, Chris Clark, Jeremy (Jina) Fisher, Michael Fisher, Jason (Kim) Guinn, Amber Roberts, Jesse Roberts, and Daniel Roberts; great-grandchildren, Zoey Davis, Lillianna Taylor, Oliver Usrey, Chase Fisher, Ava Fisher, Ryder Fisher, Breana Guinn, and Jonathan Pelleaux; sisters-in-law, Naoma Lewis and Jean Allen Hudson along with many other loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Denny was an avid knitter and was a founder of “The Knitwits” at Gladeville United Methodist Church.
Services for Mrs. Denny will take place Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at 6 PM at Gladeville United Methodist Church. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, from 2 PM until service time at 6 PM. Pastor Moses Han and Pastor Mark Youngman will officiate the service. Bill Denny, Tim Denny, Ray Denny, Thomas Davis, Allen Clark, A.J. Tarrant, and Cam Meadows will serve as honorary pallbearers. A private family burial will be held the following day at The Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
