In Loving Memory of Donna Lynn Williams: Donna Lynn Williams, born on September 21, 1944, peacefully passed away on August 30, 2024. Donna was born to Joseph and Emily Hudson in Concord, North Carolina and passed away in Mount Juliet where she called home.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Porter Williams, with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage, and her parents, Joseph and Emily Hudson.
She is survived by her precious daughter, Casey Bushkell, her son-in-law, Brandon Bushkell, and her grandson, Jack Bushkell. Donna was an exceptional individual who touched the lives of many with her warm and vibrant personality.
She was an avid reader, a social butterfly, and had a remarkable ability to connect with people. Donna never met a stranger and had a special talent for remembering intricate details about everyone she encountered.
For over 15 years, Donna worked as a dedicated and passionate hairdresser, bringing joy to those she styled and befriended. After her hairdressing career, she devoted herself to being a loving stay-at-home mother, raising her daughter with immense love and care. Donna took great pleasure in her role as a mother and embraced the joys of nurturing and watching Casey grow.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Donna will remember her as a shining star in a dark sky. Her warm and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of many, and her light will continue to shine through the cherished memories and stories shared by those whose lives she touched.
Donna Lynn Williams will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, serving as a source of comfort and inspiration in the days ahead.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor Donna’s life will be held at Sellars Funeral Home in Mount Juliet on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
