Mr. Donald Lee Woodard, Jr. age 64 of Watertown, passed away Thursday January 1, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Born December 28, 1961 in Gallatin, he was the son of the late Donald Lee Woodard, Sr. and Roberta Gregory Woodard. Donald was a devoted truck driver for over 30 years with PFG in Lebanon. Donald was full of humor, always on the go, and rarely sitting still. He loved laughing, singing, teasing, and moving around whether it was down the highway or into the next adventure. If you knew Donald, you knew of his jokes, his grin, and his restless spirit.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Conyer; wife Maryann Ford; sisters, Donna Faye, Linda York, and Janice Woodard; brother, Billy Woodard; step-daughter, Mary Jo Ford; and sister-in-law, Corey Woodard.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Woodard; brother, Bobby (Holly) Woodard; sister, Deborah (Martin) Lopez; brothers-in-law, Buster (Vicky) Lanier and Mark Suddarth; step-children, Bobby (Darcey) Hutchinson, TJ (Amanda) Hutchinson, LaDonya (Sammy) Croslin, and Tabitha Rittenberry; 15 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him deeply; including his babies – Anthony Woodard, Aubrey Woodard, Bentlee Woodard, Selena Lopez, and Maddy Huntsman.
Though the road has come to an end, Donald’s spirit lives on in every mile traveled, every laugh shared, and every story told. He will be remembered as a hardworking man with a big heart, a sharp sense of humor, and a love for life on the road that never slowed down.
