Dennis Allen Schultz, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen Schultz; children, Dennis “Allen” Schultz II, Brett (Lacey) Schultz, and Brooke Schultz; siblings, Diane (Jeff) Ethridge, Dawn (Don) Gaston, Deeann (Rusty) Schultz; grandchildren, Bryson, Luke, Allie, and Kohen.
Born and raised with a deep love for the water, Dennis’s life revolved around his cherished moments on the lake. Whether he was navigating the waves on a boat or simply enjoying the tranquility of the shore, the serenity of the water always brought him joy and peace. His love for boating was second only to his love for his family.
A proud veteran of the Navy, Dennis served his country with honor and unwavering patriotism. His commitment and dedication to upholding the values he believed in were evident, and he instilled this same sense of loyalty and duty in his children and grandchildren.
Dennis possessed a natural ability to connect with people, and his warm and personable nature ensured that he never met a stranger. His magnetic personality drew others towards him, and his genuine interest in their lives made everyone feel valued and cherished. He had an innate ability to make people feel seen and heard, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
He will be deeply missed by his adoring wife, children, and grandchildren, who were the center of his world.
The family will receive friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Mount Juliet, TN, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
