David Rhea Hadley age 86 of Lebanon, Tennessee, born on August 11, 1936, passed away on May 31, 2023 in the Lebanon Center for Rehabilitation & Healing.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Reba Mae Green Hadley; parents, Paul and Delta Hadley; brother, Dempsey Hadley and sister-in-law, Marsha Hadley.
Survived by his sons, David M. Hadley, Barry Hadley & Steve (Diana) Hadley; daughter, Lynda Kay Hadley; grandchildren, Jody Hadley, Lauryn (Auston) Seacrist, Taylor Hadley, Kyle Hadley, Kelley McKnight and Ean Edgell; great-grandchildren, Nickolas Reed, Hailey Caffey, Jaynasyn Raye Hadley, Ellisyn Seacrist, Kendralyn Seacrist, Ryker Hadley, Abel McKnight, and Hendryx Wisch; brother, Phillip Hadley; sisters-in-law, Flora Lee Scantland & Elizabeth Green and son-in-law, Charles John Pitts.
Mr. Hadley was a building superintendent for Phillips Builders and Marion Thurman, setting a record at the time for most houses built in one year in Davidson County. He was an avid carpenter, owning Dave Hadley Custom Carpentry, as well as a member of the Shriners. He was also a member of Cason Lane Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN.
Visitation for Mr. Hadley will be held at the Christian Life Chapel (105 Holloway Drive, Lebanon, TN) on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from 11 A.M. until the funeral service at 1 P.M. Interment will follow in the Hurricane Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Tim McDonald and Bro. Mike Harrington will officiate the service with family serving as pallbearers. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements.
