Mr. Danny Joe Huff Sr. of Lebanon died unexpectedly on Saturday evening September 21, 2024 at the age of 75 and was pronounced deceased at 5:10 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital Emergency Room in Lebanon.

Mr. Huff is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted Friday afternoon September 27th at 1 p.m. from the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church in the Rock City Community with the church pastor, Bro. Randall Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage.

The Huff family will receive friends at the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church only on Friday from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral services.

Mr. Huff was the son of the late Joe Thomas Huff who died January 28, 2010 at the age of 80 and Virginia Frances Jennings Huff who died July 21, 2003 at the age of 69.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Huff.

He was a former dump truck driver and most recently served as a janitor for the Wilson County Board of Education.
He was an attendee at the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church.

Surviving are his three children, Danny Joe Huff Jr. and wife Rachel Madewell Huff of the Chestnut Mound Community, Felicia Michelle Twigg of South Carthage, Tonya Lynette Rodriguez of Lebanon; sister, Patricia Bean of Lebanon, Jimmy Huff and wife Cindy of Cookeville; eight grandchildren, Justin, Jasper, Nathan, Julianne, and Willard Blake Huff, Sterling Nicholas Huff, Kyle Gravely and wife Jenna, Nichole Paige Gravely; nine great-grandchildren; two step sons, Jason McCrary and wife Tammy of the Lock Seven Community, Jeremy Powell and wife Sherry of Lebanon; four step-grandchildren, Dustin Powell, Autumn and Colton McCrary and John Powell.

The Huff family has requested memorials to assist with the funeral expenses.
