Daniel L Hiveley, Sr. age 79 of Lebanon, died Friday morning, Aug. 30, 2024 at his residence.
Born NOv. 5, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MN, he was the son of Don L. Hiveley and Beverly Behr Hiveley, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Peterson and brothers, Raymond Hunter and Terry Olsen.
Daniel had a Masters degree in Education was a teacher and professor, he was a US Navy veteran and was an Elder of the Commerce Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Utley Hiveley; children, Dan Hiveley, Jr. and Annette (Paul) Kennedy; grandchildren, Amber (Justin) Vornsand, Justin (Briona) Hiveley, Brittany Hiveley, Andrew and Tyler Kennedy; great grandchildren, Caden, Mason, Ayden, Waylen and Greysen; sister, Bonnie Davidson; brothers, Jim Hiveley, David Hiveley, Billy Mac and Lenny Olsen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Shepard officiating. Visitation will be from Noon till service time on Wednesday. Pallbearers, Dan Hiveley, Jr., Paul Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy, Tyler Kennedy, Pat Utley, Michael Utley. Interment with Military Honors at Commerce Cemetery.
