Charles Lewis “Charlie” Brown Sr. passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, he was 72 years old.
Charles Lewis Brown Sr. was born in Gainsboro TN to Cleo Warren and Jim Brown.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting for arrowheads. Charles was a jack of all trades with his own construction company.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rita Brown; children: Charles “Bud” (Deana) Brown Jr, Christa Brown, and Carla Brown; grandchildren: Emily Brown, Brandon (Madison) Crawford, Matthew Hayes, Kayleigh Hayes, Cloe Brown, Carson Brown, Alicia (Nick) Crittendon, and Billy Dean Heady; great-grandchildren: Tajji, Mason, and Chase; siblings: Mabel Brown, Grady Brown, and James Brown; sisters-in-law: Brenda Ballard and Freida Beasley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents Cleo and Jim Brown, siblings Richard Brown and Betty Brown, and sisters-in-law Joyce Brown, Juanita Babbitt, and Wilma (Buford) Bass, and brother-in-law Carl (Dorothy) Reynolds Jr.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Ken Trammel, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Barrett Cemetery, Lebanon TN, will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
