Charles Bridges Barrett, age 86 of Watertown, Tennessee passed away on Saturday morning, March 25, 2023 at his residence.
Born June 5, 1936 in Greenvale, he was the son of the late Charlie Louis Barrett and Alberta Skelton Barrett and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Barrett in 2019.
Charles was a graduate of Watertown High School and received a MBA from Andrew Jackson University and was a 33 year employee of the Ford Glass Plant. He was a 60 year member of Comer Lodge 417 F&AM and was a member of the Al Menah Shrine Temple. Charles was an active member of the Watertown Church of Christ.
He is survived by his sons, Mike Barrett and his wife, Marilyn and Roger Barrett both of Watertown; grandchildren, Jennifer Barrett Kimbrell, Leslie Barrett and Reagan Barrett Dean; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Opal Midgett and Fay Curtis both of Lebanon, Erma Barrett and Jean Russell both of Greenvale; brothers, Dalton Barrett of Murfreesboro, Wayne (Linda) Barrett of Lebanon and Louis (Patricia) Barrett of Greenvale and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Robinson and Randall Clemons officiating. Visitation 2-6 p.m. Sunday and Noon till service time on Monday. Pallbearers, Joey, Greg and Harold Barrett, Lynn Russell, Tra Patterson and Bill Stephens. Interment will be at Hunter Memorial Park. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
