Bridgett Laniece Basham passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 in her home in Hendersonville surrounded by family.
She was born November 8, 1945 in McEwen, TN to the late Walter Ellis Winstead and the late Evelyn Conner Winstead.
Known affectionately as Niecee, her most cherished moments were spent traveling, having fun, and making memories with the ones she loved.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Richard Wayne Basham and brother, Bill Winstead.
She is survived by her brothers, Mack Winstead (Mary) and Don Winstead (Faye); her sister, Renae Stewart (Steve); her daughter, Dawn Frensley (Tommy) and son, Derick Cash (Stephanie); her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly.
Per her wishes, no service will be held.
