Bessie Napier, age 80 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Vanderbilt Wilson Co. Hospital.
She was preceded in death by parents, Shafter and Effie Blair; husband, John W. Napier; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Napier; grandson, Levi Davis; son-in-law, Randy Barnhart; and 8 siblings.
She is survived by son, Jeff (Kathey) Napier; daughters, Lisa Barnhart and Marti (fiancé, Marcus King) Napier; brother, Frank (Doris) Blair; grandchildren, Christy (Steven) Crossland, Dustin Napier, Brandon Shelton, Christopher Shelton, Matthew King, and Kevin King; and great-granddaughter, Rylie Parker Crossland.
Mrs. Napier was a 1960 graduate of Smith County High School. She was a bookkeeper with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and worked at Kids World Daycare for many years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Partlow Funeral Chapel, 233 West Main St. from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Christian Life Chapel, 105 Holloway Dr. with visitation from 11 a.m. until the service. Bro. Jerry Blair will officiate and interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
