Barry D. Barrett, age 61 of Lebanon passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elgin & Lillie Mae Murphy Barrett; brother, Rodney Bell Barrett; & father-in-law, Butch Blythe.
Barry is survived by his wife of 30 years, Stephanie Pruitt Barrett; daughter, Hailey Brooklynn Shrum & her husband, Kenneth “Bubba” Shrum; brothers, Robert (Loretta) Barrett & Jackie (Gayle) Barrett; nephews, Chase (Katie) Barrett & Tyler Barrett; mother-in-law, Jane Blythe; great-niece, Remy Marie Barrett; and the family dog, Rip.
Mr. Barrett was a 1979 graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of the Vine Church of Christ. He was a 22 year employee of TAFA as a Frame Technician, and also worked with Manheim Auto Auction.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Partee House, 233 West Main Street, Lebanon, Tn 37087 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Graveside Services will immediately follow the visitation in the Baird’s Mill Cemetery, 19530 Central Pike, Lebanon. TN 37090. Bro. Randy Ward & Rev. Robert Spickard will officiate the services. Active pallbearers, Chase Barrett, Troy Oliver, Brad Downing, Kevin Ferrell, Jeff Cogdill & Matthew Scott. Honorary pallbearers, Omer Mayo, Paul Scott, Tyler Barrett, Bubba Shrum & Bill Bundy.
