Ms. Anita Darlene Sanders age 48, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2025. Anita was born on September 12, 1977 in Port Arthur, Texas to Allen and Denise Sanders.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Denise Sanders and sister, Angela Sanders.
Anita is survived by her life partner, Allen Schmidt; children, Victoria (Larry Granito) Robinson, Jacob Sanders-Robinson and A.J. Schmidt; father, Allen Sanders; sister, Sherry (Robert) Neeld; grand fur baby, Rebel.
Funeral Services for Ms. Anita Sanders will be held on Monday, October 13th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland. Interment will follow the service at Jake Link Cemetery with Robert Neeld, Blake Neeld, Nicholas Neeld, Josh Mooneyhan, Jeffery Mooneyhan and Grayson Mooneyhan serving as pallbearers. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Sunday, October 12th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Monday, October 13th from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
