OBITUARY: Angie Holt

Angela “Angie” Holt – age 61 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by parents, James Baxter and Annie Lee Tarpley Goad; brother, Ricky Goad; sisters, Joyce Tisdale and Donna Barlow; father-in-law, Paul Holt; and sister-in-law, Paula Holt Gardner.

Angie is survived by husband of 40 years, Marlon Holt; daughter, Faith Anne Holt; sisters, Brenda McCanless and Debra Edwards; mother-in-law, Reba Holt; brothers-in-law, Hobart Jr. Tisdale, Jerry Barlow, Tommy Edwards, and John Holt; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Angie was a 1983 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a member of Love’s Way Church where she enjoyed her Tuesday morning Bible class and being a door greeter. She also worked in various retail positions in Lebanon. Angie had a flair for fashion and never met a pair of shoes she didn’t adore. Shopping was her favorite pastime, and she always managed to find just the right style to match her sparkle. At home, HGTV was often playing in the background while she created magic in the kitchen – cooking was her passion, and her husband was always happy to be the official “clean-up crew.”

Her constant companion, her beloved dog Zoe, brought her endless joy and comfort. Angie’s warmth, creativity, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Partlow Funeral Chapel from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Bro. Stan Edwards will officiate and interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Peyton Suchomel and the staff at Alive Hospice.
