A Mt. Juliet firefighter is being recognized for his leadership and dedication to serving the community.
The City of Mt. Juliet has named Lt. Jordan Hastings of the Mt. Juliet Fire Department as its March Employee of the Month, an honor sponsored by US Community Credit Union.
City officials say Hastings is known for his professionalism and calm presence during emergency responses, as well as his role in mentoring fellow firefighters and helping lead daily operations within the department.
Leaders also highlighted his commitment to training, teamwork, and readiness, noting that his efforts help ensure the department remains prepared to serve the community at a high level.
Hastings was praised for leading by example and earning the respect of his peers while contributing to the safety and well-being of Mt. Juliet residents.
