The Titans Star RB Derrick Henry is Injured

The Tennessee Titans may be losing their star offensive player for the majority, if not the rest, of their season. Running Back Derrick Henry has been placed on the IR Roster after injuring his foot in Sunday’s game against the Colts.

Head Coach Mike Vrabel said that Henry will be undergoing surgery for his foot on Tuesday morning, and did not give a timeline on his expected recovery and return to the team. With an injury of that nature, the standard expected recovery time is 6-10 weeks.

It has been reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport that the Titans have signed running back Adrian Peterson in light of losing Henry for the time being.

The Predators Have Their First Long Road Trip

Nashville will not be the host of many games for their Predators in the month of November. The team hits the road for their first long road trip of the season, kicking off in Alberta, Canada Tuesday against the Calgary Flames.

This week, the Preds will go on to play the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night, the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night, and finish it out with a game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night. They will play two more games on the road next week, before returning to Bridgestone Arena on Saturday the 13th.

Nashville is looking to continue their three game win streak, coming off an exciting shootout victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday. Goaltender Juuse Saros had 34 saves, and forward Tanner Jeannot scored twice for the Preds to send the game into overtime. Forward Filip Forsberg and Captain Roman Josi both scored in the shootout to win the game. The team is currently with a 4-4-0 record, ranked 4th in the Central Division.

Bonus: There may be a World Series Winner Tonight

Be sure to catch Game 6 of the World Series at 7pm Central time tonight on Fox. The Braves lead the series 3-2, and had a chance to clinch the title at home on Sunday night. Their loss sends the series back to Houston for Game 6, and a Game 7 if necessary. While the Astros won the World Series last in 2017, the Braves have not won the championship title since 1995.
