UPDATE: An arrest has been made as the investigation remains active regarding the death of a Wilson County man that took place during the early morning hours on early Monday morning.
November 27, 2023 – A Wilson County man was found dead as deputies entered a residence in Liberty early Monday morning after being dispatched to a ‘shots fired’ call.
The victim, identified as 40-year-old Jacob A. Harris, was located inside the house deceased and detectives are treating it as a homicide investigation.
A person of interest is being questioned by investigators and there is no threat to the public as it appears to be an isolated incident.
