Leon’s Famous Deli opened in Mt. Juliet today, Wednesday, April 3.
This new and authentic deli is located downtown at 2240 N Mt Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN, across from The Christmas Store.
The sandwich shop’s cuisine is a mix of tradition, creativity and a bit of New Orleans flair. Served on french bread shipped directly from a New Orleans bakery, all of the sandwiches are named after New Orleans’ streets or locations.
Their menu features over 25 sandwiches, which can also be made as loaded fries. A few examples of their sandwiches include the Magazine St (house-made pastrami, Leon’s sauce, Swiss, sauerkraut, on marble rye), the Metairie (smoked turkey, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, herb oil) and the Carnivale (braised pork, garlicky broccoli rabe, provolone, parm mayo). Deli salads are also on the menu. Examples are chicken salad, egg salad and pasta salad. Deli salads rotate. Check out their full menu here.
