Lebanon Police Department has announced the promotion of Cody Miller to A-Detail Corporal.
Cody was born and raised in Lebanon, TN. He went on to graduate from Lebanon High School in 2009. Cody joined the U.S. Army Reserve in 2013 serving as a Military Police Officer until 2021. During his eight (years of military service he achieved the rank of Corporal (E-4), he also attended Middle Tennessee State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2015.
He began his law enforcement career with the Metro Nashville Police Department as a Police Officer in 2019. He completed their Training Academy in 2020. While there, he served in the patrol division.
Cody later joined theLebanon Police Department in 2021 and has served as a Police Officer, Field Training Officer, and Master Police Officer. He’s completed hundreds of hours of training during his tenure. He also received supervision and leadership training while in the military. In 2021 he received a letter of recognition for rendering lifesaving medical aid to a citizen.
