The Lebanon Police Department has announced the promotion of Beau Barnett to D-Detail Sergeant.
Beau was born in Hereford, TX, and grew up in the neighboring city of Friona, TX. He is a 2004 graduate of Friona High School. After High School Beau attended West Texas A & M University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice administration.
In 2008, he moved to Tennessee to begin his law enforcement career with the Hendersonville Police Department where he served until 2013. Beau began service with the Lebanon Police Department that same year. During his time with LPD, he has served as a Police Officer, Field Training Officer, and Corporal.
Beau’s heart is with patrol where he has served since beginning his career. During that time, he has received several letters of commendation for service above and beyond. He’s also completed hundreds of hours of training much of which has been focused on leadership and supervision.
