$4,000 Sign-on Bonus + a state-sponsored $10,000 Bonus for Eligible Certified Officers
– Paid over a 36-month period.
– 6 Months=$3,000 ($2,000 of which is the sign-on bonus)
– 12 Months = $5,000 ($2,000 of which is the sign-on bonus)
– 24 Months = $3,000
– 36 Months = $3,000
– Total = $14,000
Extra $10,000 bonus Eligibility Requirements:
-In-State Certified: Must have a break in service from law enforcement of at least 1 year, no more than 7.
-Out-of-state Certified: no more than a 7-year break in service from law enforcement.
Transferable Experience
After one year of service with our department, provided there are no disciplinary actions on record and you receive a satisfactory evaluation, you may receive credit for up to two years of prior law enforcement experience. This could advance you to the equivalent of a third-year Master Patrol Officer, with a base pay of $32.84/hour or $71,722 annually, not including additional stipends and shift differential pay.
