A logistics company announced Wednesday an upcoming layoff of dozens of employees at their Lebanon facility.

APL Logistics, Ltd., located at 501 Darrell Waltrip Dr., filed an official WARN Notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, notifying the agency of a permanent closure on April 30, 2024.

The company notified the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Dislocated Worker Unit on February 7, 2024.

A total of 52 employees will be affected when the facility permanently closes on April 30.

The employees at the facility are not represented by a collective bargaining agreement and do not have
bumping rights. The Northern Middle Local Workforce Development area will be responsible for the oversight of the continued follow-up of Rapid Response and Dislocated Worker services.
