Just Love Coffee usually welcomes customers with waffles and artisan coffee. But on November 21 from 6:30 to 8 pm, a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings and dessert will be served FREE to anyone and everyone who walks through the doors at the Mount Juliet location at 63 Belinda Parkway.

With local police officers dishing out turkey instead of speeding tickets, co-owners and sisters Tracy and Annette Vitela are expecting hundreds to attend from throughout the region.

“We’ve invited folks from organizations in several counties such as Compassionate Hands, the Mount Juliet Help Center, and others,” said Tracy Vitela. “It’s not just for the homeless or those in need, but for those spending the holidays alone or anyone who wants to celebrate with us. You don’t need to be invited and everybody is welcome!”

Vitela added that once news spread about the free dinner, the outpouring from the community has been nonstop. The Mount Juliet Police Department jumped on board while other customers and businesses offered cash and food.

“We are grateful to everyone who has offered to help or volunteer to make this a Thanksgiving to remember,” Vitela added. “We’re looking forward to showering people with love, good food, and of course — great coffee!”
