Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas will break ground Friday on a new freestanding emergency department that will expand access to 24/7 emergency care in Wilson County.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, at 3940 Highway 109 in Lebanon. Construction of the new facility will bring emergency services closer to residents living along the Highway 109 corridor and surrounding communities.
The emergency department will provide care for patients of all ages and include advanced diagnostic imaging, on-site laboratory services, and board-certified emergency physicians.
The ceremony will feature remarks from healthcare and community leaders, a community blessing, a ceremonial groundbreaking, photo opportunities, and light refreshments. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about the project and its impact on healthcare access in the growing Wilson County community.
