Green Hill SRO Awarded with Proclamation From the Tennessee Senate

Deputy Chase Dillard, School Resource Officer at Green Hill High School, was recognized this morning at the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber of Commerce for his quick actions that saved the life of an eighth-grade student on May 5, 2022. Deputy Dillard was successful in dislodging a foreign object that became lodged in the student’s throat which allowed the student to begin breathing normally again.

In addition to the Medal of Valor received earlier in the year by the Wilson County Commission, the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee wanted to also recognize him for his meritorious service and unwavering commitment to others, and his astute service in Wilson County.
