The Green Hill High School Dance Team made history by claiming their first-ever Grand State Championship title and sweeping first place state titles in both categories entered, Hip Hop and Spirit Showdown, at the Dance Team Union State Invitational, held at Green Hill High School on December 7, 2024. Competing against top teams from across the state, the team delivered stunning performances that left judges and spectators in awe.
The journey to the title was anything but easy. The team committed to an intensive training schedule while balancing their personal and academic responsibilities. With the guidance of Coach Talor Franklin and Coach Koree Mackey, the team focused on perfecting every detail while building a supportive, close knit team dynamic. The championship is more than just a trophy, it represents the heart and soul of every single dancer on the team.
As they savor their success, the Green Hill High School Dance Team hopes their story will inspire future generations of dancers to work hard and dream big.
