A Sumner County teen died after a tree fell in Friday’s storm.
Liberty Creek High School posted that their student, Aleya Brooks, was badly injured and was placed in critical condition.
The school later posted that the teen had passed away on Sunday after being taken off of mechanical support.
Counselors will be available for Liberty Creek High School students this week as they grieve the loss.
