Firefighters in Lebanon responded to a residential fire that left a home heavily damaged and displaced three adults.
The Lebanon Fire Department and Wilson County Emergency Management Agency were dispatched to a home on Bluebird Road, where crews encountered intense flames primarily coming from the rear deck of the residence upon arrival.
Firefighters from both agencies worked together to contain the blaze, with Lebanon crews attacking the fire and conducting a search from the front of the home, while WEMA crews handled suppression on the rear and nearby areas where the fire had spread. WEMA also established a water supply to support firefighting operations.
During the response, crews performed life-saving measures on the family’s pet and were able to successfully revive it at the scene.
Officials say the fire caused significant damage, forcing three adults from the home. The American Red Cross is assisting those displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
