Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that followed an attempted traffic stop on Sunday evening.
Lebanon Police says an officer was traveling northbound on Highway 109 when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction was clocked at 113 MPH. The officer safely made a U-turn to try and initiate a traffic stop.
The suspect then collided with a vehicle turning into the Spence Creek neighborhood, causing the suspect’s vehicle to travel from the roadway through multiple back yards.
At this time, alcohol is suspected in this crash.
Police did not released any additional information.
