Lebanon police are reminding drivers to slow down in school zones after officers stopped a vehicle traveling nearly twice the posted speed limit near Lebanon High School on Tuesday morning.

Officers noticed a Toyota Sienna moving well over the 25-mph limit while the school zone lights were active. After pulling the driver over, officers discovered the 34-year-old man from Antioch did not have a valid driver’s license. He was taken into custody without incident.

Police said they will continue keeping a close watch on school zones to help protect students during busy arrival and dismissal times.
