Local comedian Nate Bargatze and his wife Laura have made a lead donation of $650,000 to Donelson Christian Academy (DCA) for an indoor practice facility. Nate is a 1997 graduate of DCA. The Bargatzes have also committed to an additional matching gift of $650,000 to the project.
The practice facility will be a multi-purpose space to be used during all seasons. It will serve as a competitive athletic facility, offer a space for strength training, as well as, offer space for band and early learning. It will also allow for new locker rooms and office spaces.

Nate Bargatze is for his clean, observational humor. Born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, Bargatze grew up in a family of entertainers; his father was a former clown turned magician.
