The City of Lebanon is hiring Field Service Reps for a Special Census project.

This is a temporary assignment for up to 6 months, pay is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle, proof of insurance and clear MVR. Mileage reimbursement is provided by the City of Lebanon.

The City of Lebanon will be conducting a Special Census in order to update the city census data. A Special Census Field Representative is a dependable professional who gathers demographic information about the population of Lebanon. They will visit people’s homes, they may call members of the community, or mail surveys they can complete to collect this information. Ideal candidates are good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work independently.

Special Census Field Representatives will gather information about people’s names and addresses in order to be counted. The City of Lebanon has a population of 38,431. As of July 1, 2022 the US Census estimates the city’s population at 44,166. This special census is a count of all people who reside in Lebanon and will be used to get the City’s fair share of the taxes that are distributed by the State.

This position reports directly to the Special Census Team Leader, under City Planning direction. This is a seasonal position, and will last approximately 6 months long.
