The Lebanon City Council passed a second reading on January 21, an ordinance limiting construction activity from 7 a.m. to dusk.

No hoe ram operations before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Title 11 of the Lebanon Municipal Code is amended by deleting the current Section 11-401(4)(d) and replacing it with the following 11-401(4)(d): Construction or repairing of buildings.

The erection (including excavation), construction, demolition, alteration, or repair of any building during times that would not be permitted for Construction Activity by Section 12-104, Hours of Construction.

“I appreciate the Lebanon City Council voting unanimously on this ordinance, as many citizens have complained about construction noise early in the morning,” Mayor Rick Bell said in a Facebook post.
