November 15, 2023 – Tuesday night, Lebanon Police received a 911 call in reference to an attempted robbery that had just occurred in the area of Wilson Avenue.
The victim stated that someone had just tried to rob her of her purse but ran after she performed self-defense. Officers responded swiftly to the area, and Cpl. Cothron was able to make contact with someone matching the description of the suspect. Before backup arrived, the suspect fled, leading responding officers on a foot pursuit. A visual of the suspect was lost momentarily. Officer Ryan quickly located the suspect, hiding underneath a nearby trailer.
The suspect is facing multiple charges.
