Wilson County Schools is very excited to announce that Mrs. Amy Gullion has been named as the district’s Elementary Instructional Supervisor.

Mrs. Gullion is in her 18th year overall in education, and prior to this role, she served as the district’s Federal Programs Supervisor. Throughout her vast and experienced career she has also been an elementary teacher, instructional coach and a K-12 literacy consultant with the State.

“We’re thrilled to have her in this position,” says Director of Schools, Jeff Luttrell. “She has a ton of experience that will be extremely beneficial for this specific role. Her background in education reflects so much when it comes to student support and that’s such an important part to this position. I know that she will do an excellent job.”

She is currently in her 5th year with Wilson County Schools and takes over this position previously held by Mr. Bryan Adams. He recently accepted the district’s Deputy Director of Student Services position.

“I am excited and honored to transition into this role and serve in this capacity,” says Mrs. Gullion. “We all share a common goal for student success and I will work very hard to ensure our elementary schools reach those goals. I am passionate about this work and hold a fundamental belief that every student can experience success and growth.”
