Alleged Car Thief Wanted After Fleeing From Mt. Juliet Police

On Saturday afternoon, MJ Guardian Shield (the community’s Automated License Plate Recognition program) alerted officers to a stolen car entering the city along W. Division St around 1:00 p.m.

When an officer spotted the car, it fled to an address on West Caldwell St, where 31-year-old Rayshard Mabon ran away behind a home. He has not been located.

He has been known to frequent the home on W. Caldwell St, but officers confirmed that he is not inside. He is also wanted out of Wilson County for charges related to theft and aggravated burglary.

He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black shorts. He is 5’9” and around 200 pounds.

If he has not been picked-up by anyone, he is likely in the area around N Mt. Juliet Rd / Division St, Caldwell areas, and Hillview neighborhood.
